Clarissa's first PI grant through CU Innovations

Congratulations to Clarissa Garcia for her CU Cancer Center Pilot Grant "Investigating gene regulatory mechanisms associated with elevated B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia incidence in Hispanic/Latinos". Clarissa's graduate work aims to undercover why Latino individuals are more susceptible to ALL, and pin down the mechanisms of gene regulation that drive this disparity.
